Most HelpfulI love cooking, but because of an injury I obtained during high school, my wrists swell and ache for hours if I perform repetetive motions (like chopping ground beef in a frying pan). And ground beef if pretty much a staple in our home! So when I hosted a Pampered Chef party, this little tool was...

Most HelpfulWhen I first saw this product at a party, I thought that it would be so great since I use a lot of ground turkey and spend a lot of time trying to ground the meat while cooking with a spatula. It's a great product, but when using ground turkey breast (which doesn't have a lot of oil and is very dry), it becomes rather difficult to get the meat grounded to small enough pieces. I also found that it is good for doing just that, breaking up the meat. You can't flip the meat over, saute with it, etc., so it's very limited to what it can do. What I really don't like about it is that it is difficult...
review »The Pampered Chef Mix-n-Chop is nice for hamburger. When you are frying it you need to mix it around and get it out of the "block" it's shaped in. And this tool is great for that and I use it everytime for hamburger. But I have tried this with other things and it does not seem to work well. A curved hadle would be nice to so the when cooking the steam does not burn your hand.
I would recommend this for hamburger only!
I went with my Mother-in-Law to a party and ordered this item. It is wonderful, does not scratch up my coated pots and pans!! Great for mash potatoes, scrambling eggs, even milk shakes!!! My husband likes it to and the girls use it as a microphone for pretend play. You must get one!!

A friend recently had a Pampered Chef party, I wasn't looking forward to it because I thought I had all the "gadgets" from there that I would actually use. Then I saw the "Mix and Chop Tool" and knew that was exactly what I'd be ordering.
My family likes their ground meat in chili and sauces to be in pretty fine pieces. Previously we had been taught a little trick about boiling the ground meat to cook it, which helps break it up pretty quickly. But it is a somewhat tedious process to have to boil, breakup & then drain all the meat. Since we bought the "Mix and Chop" we don't have to boil it anymore...
review »Okay, as a Pampered Chef consultant I may be a bit biased, but if I was just writing reviews to make money it would be on some of our more pricey products!
At just $9.00, the Mix & Chop will become one of your favorite kitchen tools. Rather than spending 30 minutes trying to break up ground beef with a wooden spoon, the Mix & Chop does all the work for you in just a few seconds.
It's also great to break up ground turkey or sausage, chop up eggs for egg salad, and mix meatloaf or meatballs without getting your hands all yucked up!
I love this time-saving device and you will too!

review »When I'm in the kitchen preparing a meal I find that the pampered chef mix-n-chop tool is extremely handy for quick meals that require dicing or shreading of food. It slices through veggies thoroughly and is handy to use when trying to chop and cook at the same time. It is easy to use, dishwasher safe and it cleans really well.
I find that is cuts through meats pretty good - separating it well for cooking. I like to use it when because I can dice my veggies and slice up the meat all at the same time during preparation. I find it to be a handy tool to use.
The Pampered Chef Mix 'n Chop is the greatest for chopping hamburger for such things as tacos and spaghetti sauce. It has more surface contact and blades than your typical turner. Other uses are chopping and mixing up the ingredients for egg salad, chicken salad and tuna salad. Made of high quality nylon, it is safe to use on cookware and will not scratch. The handle is shaped for an easy grasp. The Mix 'n Chop is heat resistant to 428 degrees and is dishwasher safe. The cost is only $10 and it also has a 5 year guarantee. It is one of the most used tools in my kitchen!!
