Not really worth the price.

I bought this thinking it would be great for ground beef.  I was disappointed.  I didn't find it was particularly effective on very lean ground beef at all.  It did marginally better work as a mixer.  Unfortunately, this item is pretty much a uni-tasker.  It takes up a lot of room, and, in my opinion, doesn't do any better job than a flat bamboo paddle (which is considerably less expensive!).  I would rather have spent my money on some others of Pampered Chef's many other quality products.
