Pampered Chef Kitchen Shears-
They are a kitchen and utility wonder!
They self sharpen.
They are dishwasher safe.
They never rust and the handle does not discolor.
You can literally cut steel nails with them but be careful not to bend the blade. It can be done relatively easy...I've done it to demonstrate to my friends. Even if the blade slightly bends they still sharpen and work just fine.
They also cut coupons, cloth, bones, raw meat, vegtables, grocery packages, and Christmas paper!
I have three pair, one for cooking, one for the kitchen utility drawer, and a third pair in my garage for outdoor use.
The pair in the garage is the oldest. I once lived in an apartment. I used them on a project while on my ground floor patio and forgot and left them outside. When I remembered I'd left them outside I went to get them and they were gone. A few days later my son came in from playing and said the apartment maintance man had my shears. I went and "retrieved" them from him. He apologized, bragged on all the things he had done with them, found out from me where he could get a couple of pairs and bought his own from a Pampered Chef rep.
They are truely awesome and I recommend them to anyone, except children, for any purpose but beware.....they do slice fingers!
