Pros

The idea of it is good.

Cons
It just doesn't work how I need it to., When attached to cabinet it doesn't work, The grips don't hold the lid enough, You have to push into it too much, The thing, if opened, spills, It's awkward

The jar opener is a white "Y" shape with the top being solid and the grippers sitting at the base of the V section.     I used this product unattached to the cabinet and it did "ok" working some of the time and I thought it would be nice for it to be attached under the cabinet, saving me drawer space.  Only once it was attached I could barely get anything unlidded.  The items that did open ended up spilling because of the pressure needed to push it into the grips.   I feel it should have some sort of clamping closing device for it to work properly.   Anyway, I went back to using the rubber lid openers.  I want everyone to know that I do not use it for pickles and that sort of jar, for me it's the juice lids, and this could be why it doesn't grip.
