This is a must have in the kitchen. No it may not chop a lot at the same time but in the time that it does take to chop things you can chop twice as much. It's a great gadget and gift for those who are always cutting themselves with knives or when you want the children to help out but don't want to give them a knife. The only thing I don't like is that it is a little difficult to clean the blades if something gets stuck up in them. The best way to resolve this is to let it soak for a few minutes in a large bowl of water, blades down. All in all it's a must have.
