Pampered Chef Classic Batter Bowl Review

Pampered Chef Batter Mix Bowl:

I have purchased many Pampered Chef products from friends who were selling Pampered Chef or hosting Pampered Chef parties over the years.  I can honestly say I have been happy with all of my Pampered Chef products that I bought for myself or as gifts but none have as I used as much as the Pampered Chef Batter Mix Bowl.

The Pampered Chef Batter Mix Bowl has measurements much like a Pyrex glass measuring bowl but I have found that past the first ingredient, that is rarely how I use this bowl.  We use it to mix up pancakes and as often is the case, I can stop making pancakes, put on the sealed tight lid and save my batter for tomorrow.  Of course we also use the Pampered Chef Batter Mix Bowl for making brownies, zuchinni bread or cakes.  The pouring spourt makes it my go to over my mixing bowls for baking.

On the other hand, I've ended up using our Pampered Chef Batter Mix Bowl more for storing in the fridge because of the seal tight lid.  It's great for big batches if you like to eat at home or entertain at home.  Right now mine is full of fabulous tuna salad.

My Viewpoint:  The seal tight lid of the Pampered Chef Mix Bowl makes it great for baking and for refrigerating left over batter but much also storing large quantities of bean salad, tuna salad, chicken salad and so on.  The measuring concept is a bit quirky to me, because after the first ingredient, you'd really have to use a measuring cup or Pyrex to get a good measurement.  However, for mixing, pouring or storing, it's awesome and I love that it is made of THICK glass and not plastic.
