This is the ONLY can opener I own now.Don't buy a cheap replica. The Pampered Chef route is the way to go. No more sharp edges. And you can put the lid back on, and put items back in the refrigerator. Saves time/energy on putting things in plastic containers. Things keep very fresh when you do this, the lid is tight. i own this can opener and it's the best one i've used. i can store it in my kitchen drawer without it taking up space like the electrical can openers. i can use it even when there is a power outage (in case i need to get to the canned goods i stored for survival in an emergency). it's easy to turn and leaves no sharp edges so the younger cookers and cakers can use it as well. the little pinchers on the side helps lift the lids off easily. —… read full review »

This is a great product. I have owned mine for 4 years and it still works great. No sharp edges to get cut on. Works every time we use it. Best of all, you can reuse the lid on most cans because of the way that it cuts it. Great for use on pet food cans in case you are not using all of the contents at once...you can save the remaining contents for later by replacing the lid onto the top of the can. I love this product! I have not cut myself on a can since using this opener. My 8 year can use it without any problems as well, and because of the clean edge, I don't mind letting her help. The other thing I like is that you don't have to grip it super tight like it will jump out of your hand any minute, in order for it to work. I found this can opener at a church rummage sale, didn't know what it was. They demonstrated , let me try it, and now I use nothing else to open my cans.

It's like magic. The opener cuts the lid at the very top of the lip of the can. Both the lid and the can come out with perfectly smooth edges. I don't worry about picking up the lid or cutting my hand when swishing out the can. I highly recommend this Pampered Chef can… read full review »

I got this can opener 6 years a go at a pampered chef party. It is by far the best can opener I have ever owned. I have never had one last this long .
