I'm obsessive about my famous chocolate chip cookies. People have always loved them. But once I started baking them on this pan people were RAVING about them and asking what my secret was. The secret is out - I use this pan. Once I did, I never went back to metal cookie sheets. The stonewear bar pan cooks evenly, doesn't dry out the food and is very versatile. I use it too cook everything, from fish and meat to cookies and brownies...especially my cookies, which come out perfect! It, like stoneware in general, can be weighty but it it's a good solid piece and well worth it. My metal pans would not always sit flat in the over so the food didn't always come out even. That's not a problem with this bar pan! Try it and you'll love it.
