These spoons are very good for use with baking, as they make excellent stirring spoons (as long as the dough is not too thick). They also make good serving spoons for dishes such as mashed potatoes or casseroles. Ease of Cleaning We do not put these spoons in the dishwasher, so they must be washed by hand. If they are not washed soon after use, the food or dough can dry on them and be extremely difficult to remove. Food sticks to them pretty hard, and the curved design of the spoon makes it difficult to create enough force to scrub hard. Durability This spoons will last for a long time as serving spoons or mixing lighter batters. But if the cookie dough or bread mix is too thick, the spoon can break. Design These spoons might last a little longer on tough doughs if the handles were made to be a little bit thicker. A thicker handle would also provide a better grip. But other than that, they are designed pretty well.

I'm a bit of a wooden spoon addict and I use them all the time while cooking and baking so when I saw these in the Pampered Chef catalog I simply had to get a set. These are sturdy and well made. They are great from everything from sautéing onions to scraping batter from a bowl. I've even used them to mix chocolate chips into a stiff shortbread dough without any hint of breakage or weakening. I also love that they just do not stain or retain smells. You can use them for a spaghetti sauce one day, chocolate chip cookies the next, and sautéing onions the next. It's not an issue at all. They wash up beautifully, as well.I always hand wash mine and they're a cinch to wash. The great thing about these spoons is that the bamboo material does not splinter like some of the inexpensive wooden spoons out there. I also love the shapes as these are a bit wider than most wooden spoons. That makes for easier cooking and baking. These are great to buy for yourself or to give as a gift!

Over 10 years ago I purchased a set of these bamboo cooking spoons when first introduced to Pampered Chef and am still using two of them. They are great in the kitchen for cooking most anything and clean up easily. I typically leave this spoon in a pot when boiling anything and it has held up nicely. One time my son was using one of these spoons to play and when he slammed it down on the floor it split right down the center of the handle, which explains why I am only using two of them now. Great for cooking....not so great for a young boy to play with. Ease of Cleaning These spoons clean easily in warm soapy water. I don't put mine in the dishwasher for fear that the high temperature of the water may not agree with them. Durability Very durable for cooking but not for a young child to play with. Have not had any issues with these bamboo spoons splintering or peeling in 10 years. Design Comfortable to hold and use.

The Pampered Chef Bamboo Spoon Set is a great addition to any kitchen because they are easy to use, easy to clean, and they look nice enough to use as serving spoons at the table. These are perfect for mixing things on the stove as well as brownies or other types of batter. I also like that these can go in the dishwasher. You don't have to worry about washing them by hand which makes me much more likely to use them. Also, they are very affordable, so I don't have to get worried about breaking them or using them so much that they need to be replaced. Ease of Cleaning These are so easy to clean because you can just put them in the dishwasher. I try to only buy things that are dishwasher safe, so I absolutely love these. Durability I have never had any problems with these wooden spoons. They are not cracked at all, and I have had them for a long time. Design These look nice enough to leave out on your counters in a container, which is really important when dealing with limited drawer space in most kitchens.

The pampered chef bamboo spoon set comes with three different sized spoons. Each spoon has a long handle with a rounded tip for stirring and mixing your creations. the spoons are of varied length for different purposes. This set has held up through much use for me. I would recommend it based on it's affordability and durability. it is very easy to store in a drawer or utensil crock. Ease of Cleaning The pampered chef bamboo spoons are easy to clean. They often will come clean just by rinsing them under hot water; it is very rare that their is any remnants or discoloration after this. However, it is best to sanitize them with dish soap. They are dishwasher safe, and they hold up well to washing. Durability My pampered chef bamboo spoons are frequently used and have lasted many years. They do not have any staining on them, and they have not chipped or separated. They have held up to many uses, and they are a great set.

Before encountering these, I used wooden spoons. They were okay, but I found that eventually they would splinter or kind of shred on the end. Bamboo does not do this. It actually seems to get stronger with use. Maybe that is from the heat, I'm not sure. I love the fact that bamboo is so easily sustainable as well. My favorite from the three is the long-handled spoon with a round bowl. I use this one in particular, all the time. Once I put these spoons through the gamut in my kitchen, I threw out all of my old wooden spoons. Ease of Cleaning Dishwasher safe or easily cleaned by hand. Bamboo has a smoother surface than wood so it feels cleaner as well. I do not find that it stains easily. I can make spaghetti sauce without the spoon turning red. I suppose it might stain if you left it in a pitcher of kool aid, but so far mine have not stained at all. Durability Bamboo is very strong and I've been using these for a long time. Design I love that they include a variety of lengths and shapes.

The first set of Pampered Chef Bamboo spoons I received was several years ago from a friend.  To be honest, I didn't realize the value of the gift immediately.  I thanked her and put them in a drawer.  Then one day I pulled one out and started using it.  And I haven't stopped using them since.  Many wooden spoons will crack or split over time.  Not these.  Other wooden spoons I have owned have broken in two.  Not these.  I have never found a more durable or useful kitchen spoon.  From stirring sauces to mixing cookie dough, these spoons have been through it all - and, they have even been through the dishwasher!  You see, I normally wash them by hand.  My husband, not knowing, has stuck them in the dishwasher several times (much to my chagrin).  I have always expected them to peel or split afterward, and they never have.  They don't scrath my non-stick pans, don't stain, and are a great value.  In fact, I have ordered more over the years - I don't get rid of them, I just keep adding to my collection!

Pampered Chef has been a company that I know and trust now for 10 years.  Their Bamboo wooden spoon set has not dissappointed!  I am a busy mom who spends as little time in the kitchen as possible, but I do love to bake and I do make dinner almost every night for my family.  Generally I make easy, kid friendly meals.  I have found that these spoons have helped me to achieve many a great meal for my family.  Everything from macaroni and cheese to roasted vegetables.  I believe i have had this spoon set for nearly four years now, and they are look just as good today as they did the day I bought them.  They have not splintered off anywhere and they have not discolored the way my previous wooden spoons had.  Easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and very affordable I thought.  I love the fact that I can use these spoons on my non-stick pans.  These spoons will make a great addition to your kitchen utensil drawer!

I have this Bamboo spoon set in my kitchen in a crock near my stove. I love using these to stir with as they are lightweight enough to handle which make stirring any pot a bit easier. These spoon are from Pampered Chef and they are not made to soak in water as the bamboo can get water logged and ruin them. If you do decide to get a set of these, they are a nice addition to your utensils to have by the stove, but I would make sure to wash well but not leave soaking in the sink. All in all, I still love these and recommend them for everyones kitchen.
