Pampered Chef All-Purpose Dill Mix Review

We love flavorful foods, and having married into a Polish family, dill plays a big role in many Polish and Eastern European dishes.  Pampered Chef has created a delicious blend of several herbs that works for many types of food preparation.

Pampered Chef All-Purpose Dill Mix is a 1.25 oz. spice jar filled with a wonderful-smelling dill weed, onion, garlic, and other herb and spice mixture.  Each jar sells for $5.75.  The label is in English and Spanish.  Each Pampered Chef item comes with a recipe for a jumping off point...my Polish cookbook gave me plenty of other ideas as well.  This particular blend is exclusive to Pampered Chef, so you won't find it anywhere but online or through a PC representative.

What I like about it:  The blend of spices and herbs is fantastic.  While there are two other heavy hitters (onion and garlic) in the mix, they don't overpower the dill aroma and flavor.  I love that this blend can be used in cooking or just as a seasoning sprinkled over your food.  Some spices look dry and dingy after they are packaged, but this blend is a fresh green color.  Because it looks so nice, it works well as a garnish and seasoning over sliced cucumbers, baked potatoes, tuna or potato salads, devilled eggs, biscuits or breads, and pretty much anything else that tastes good with dill!  I have even sprinkled it around the edge of large white dinner plates for a little pop of color when serving a special meal.

What I don't like about it:  Aside from the limited availability, there are really no down sides to Pampered Chef All-Purpose Dill Blend.  This is a great addition to your spice rack!
