I was worried that the sliders might get mis-shapen after going in the dishwasher, but they still seal well and I have no problem with liquids leaking behind the sliders and get accurate measurements each time.  My mother has a set that she uses on a daily basis, and hers have held up for well over a year with no indication of any wear and tear.  For the convenience, the very low price, especially for this quality, and the way these fit into even rectangular tin spice jars, this is a wonderful product!  At the most recent party I attended, everyone who was there bought a set.  We're all thrilled!  No more Indiana Jones-like searching for the missing spoons in our over-cluttered drawers!
