Overall Pamela's is great for the person who is gluten sensitive. However, if you are also setting a goal to release some pounds this is not for you. The tapioca, and rice flours are way too high in carbs to do you any good. When I first went gluten-free Pamela's was my favorite mix . It was so difficult to find a mix that tasted like I wanted. My knee pain disappeared within the week. But I needed to let go of at least 40 pounds. So I discovered that I needed to research more. When you are transitioning to gluten- free it is urgent To get gluten out of your system. So Pamela's is great until you can learn to make your breads from almond flour/meal. If you are in a hurry or traveling you can use this product. Celiac disease is becoming more well known. The advertising around the solutions to Celiac sufferers, tends to laser focus on gluten-free as the word that makes one feel safe , but the high carb content is something we need to be careful of.

When I was first diagnosed with a gluten allergy I was traumatized.  My hobby was baking for everyone and anyone and at that point I didn't know what to do.  A friend recommended this and it has made my life so much easier.  It tastes just like pancakes, it doesn't have that gritty gluten free texture, my non-gluten free friends love it and often request my cookies made from this mix over my old classics.  I always have this product on hand!

We have some issues with gluten intolerance in our family so we needed to start looking into gluten-free products.  Tried a bunch of pancake, bread and baking mixes where even if the taste was ok, the texture was hard and/or cardboard like.  Pamela's gets it right on both counts.  The baked products taste great, are easy to make (no obscure ingredients required) and have a nice soft texture.  I have made muffins, quick breads, scones and pancakes with this mix and my family loves them all.  My husband actually requests these scones specifically (even above regular gluten ones) because he likes the flavor and texture better.  The product is a little more expensive (especially at Whole Foods) but you can get a better price if you buy in bulk (like off Amazon.com).  Awesome product and totally recommend it!!

I want to talk to you about Pamela's pancake and baking mix.  I have Celiac's disease and for years have tried every gluten free and wheat free product I could find on the market and after tasting what was the equivalent of saw dust for bread I gave up and just went without never thinking I would ever enjoy breads, muffins,cakes and pancakes ever again.  I ran across Pamela's baking mixe's and baked goods on line one day and looked everwhere to find them but I finally did, I coudn't wait to try it but didnt really want to get my hopes up from all the let downs in the past with other products I had tried.  This took me by surprise!  It is so delicious the texture and the taste makes the most fantastic baked goods I have ever had.  When I do bake with regulare flour for my family at the holidays they tell me to use Pamela's because they like that so much more now then wheat flour.  IT has so much flavor and the texture is light and moist and fluffy.  Absolutely the best product on the market.  I have also tried all of her other products like cookies and other breads.  Fantastic!!!  Now I only use Pamela's when I bake and you can find it in most grocery stores and organic specialty shops now. I can't live without it!

I really enjoy this baking mix! I have used it many times for making pancakes and there is hardly any difference then using normal pancake mix! Also we have used it to bread chicken and other products and really enjoy the flavor! I love that this Gluten-Free product actually is an easy transition for those used to normal gluten products. It is one of the products we make sure to have on hand all the time! It really is worth the cost. Some of the best baking mix for gluten-free dieters! I love that you can make pancakes, muffins, cookies, scones, breading mix on meats and much more! Really love this product and will keep buying it forever!!!

My son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in August 2009. I had heard about Pamela's Products and I must say this baking mix is is wonferful and it is super easy to make some great chocolate chip pancakes. I have also used it to substitute my normal wheat flour with Pamela's and it is great. This is a must at our house! There are recipes on the back for additional items that you can make such as waffles, muffins, scones, banana loaf cake, breading mixture, pumpkin loaf cake with nut topping, sour cream coffee cake, zucchini loaf cake, drop biscuites and chocolate chip cookies. We have also made the cookies as wll and they are really good. We prefer them over the Betty Crocker chocolate chip box ims. The price is not bad either considering that one bag really goes a long way. We also like to make Taffy Apple Salad and we use this flour mixture instead of the regular wheat flour. It is a big hit with my kids!
