You just simply drop in the liner and you are ready to go! There are two types of nipples you can use with these so you have the selection from which to chose from. There are also fast-flow and slow-flow nipples to chose from. The nipple is comparable to the real thing. My son had no problem with switching from me to the bottle. It really does reduce the bubbles in the milk when compared to what other brands offer. I used two different sizes as well 4oz and 8 oz, so it grows as your child does. They come with different types of designs that you can choice from and you can also just choose to go with the plain ones if you like.
