When we first moved to San Diego I had just finished high school after six years of studying. Palomar San Marcos was the closest college campus to where we lived. It took less than twenty minutes to drive there. The campus was massive but easy to navigate because it was filled with signs and a map to figure out where you were. The bookstore and cafeteria are located in the same area. There is a job fair every few months where students can get opportunities to earn money for books. There is even a website to order your books and pick them up at the campus. There are several parking lots, a few designated for students. A parking pass is required to park but there is a spot for students to be dropped off. Buses come every few hours and there is a train located across the street from the campus. All entrances and exits are clearly marked. A class guide is sent in the mail every semester along with a reminder card that gives you the date you can start signing up and the date of the semester. There is financial aid available and a counseling center. The campus is open and the faculty and staff are very helpful. I would recommend checking it out for yourself.
