It Works if You Are Diligent

4

After some hormone fluctuations and some time spent in the sun without sunscreen (I"ll never do THAT again), my face developed some spots. The most frustrating of them was the melanin "mustache" that popped up seemingly overnight. No amount of make-up would cover it to my satisfaction, especially on days when I had to be outside in the heat. Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Fade Cream worked perfectly to remove the shadow under my nose. It has also lightened, but not completely removed, a spot high on my cheekbone. If I were more diligent about using it every single day, it would probably disappear. Best to use before bed. It smells nice. Absorption The instructions say to apply it only to the areas you want to lighten, and only in a thin layer. I often use a tiny paint brush to apply it to a couple of freckles under my eye. Sweating seems to lift the product so it creates a white film, kinda like some sunscreens do. This is not a product that you can confidently put on, and then attend a hot pool party while wearing. Doesn't Clog Pores I have never had a problem with this product clogging my pores. Effectiveness The product is effective if you are willing to use it religiously.

Really Nice Cream

5

This cream has been in my household for over a decade. My mum used it to fade spots and so did other people I know. Recently I got worried about some spots on my legs and shoulder and my mum reminded me of Palmers Skin Success cream and I bought it for a fraction of a price. Since I started using it I have noticed changes. The spots are starting to fade and I will continue to see the final result. It is cheap and is working for me. Give it a try. Absorption It absorbs quickly into the skin. It is light. Effectiveness Have only been using it for a while and have started seeing changes. It works.

Palmer's skin success is a success!

I have some scars left on my back from really bad acne on my back and I was looking for a product that could help them fade away. I first used another product which did give results but it took about 3 months and it was minimal. I then came across Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Fade Cream and decided to give it a shot because it provided a higher concentration of Hydroquinone (2%) than my previous product. I use this product twice a day and within 3 weeks I started to see results. I was really surprised by how fast it work. It faded new marks pretty quickly and you can barely notice them. Older marks are taking longer to fade but I can notice a difference. The only drawbacks I have encountered with this product is that if you use too much it will clog your pores. A little bit of this product goes a long way so only use the bare minimal and massage thoroughly into skin.

Did not work for me

More than 40 years of living in a sunny state have taken a toll on my complexion.  I'm not a sun-worshipper, but neither have I been vigilant in applying sunscreen everytime I leave the house.  As a result, I have my fair share of brown spots/discolorations on my face.  These are mostly covered by makeup, but I would rather have the blemish-free skin of my youth. Hoping to eradicate, or at least minimize, my brown spots, I tried Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Fade Cream.  It was reasonably priced at my local drugstore.  I had no trouble applying it according to the directions, and found nothing offensive in its consistency or smell.  Unfortunately, after applying it faithfully for a few weeks, I found no change at all.  This was disappointing, but I continued on for another few months before admitting defeat.  It didn't work for me at all.  I probably would have kept going, but then I heard that hydroquinone (the active ingredient in this product) is a possible carcinogen.  Yikes!!!  Okay, I don't like the brown spots, but cancer is even worse.  I threw out the rest of the bottle (in which the product had started to turn brown, despite my capping it tightly).  I guess I need to remember to wear more sunscreen.

Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Fade Cream - Better Than Expected

4

I purchased this fade cream for blemish marks on my face. I was extremely skeptical because I felt that adding any cream to my face would only worsen the acne break outs I was experiencing that were causing the blemishes in the first place. On the recommendation of a family member, however, I agreed to try the cream. I use it in conjunction with the bar soap. I have to say that my skin feels so soft, and moisturized. It is not greasy at all. I use it twice a day, morning and night. I use acne products during the day, after workouts, to keep my acne in check. It has been three months now, and there is a noticeable difference. I plan to use it all summer, and am looking forward to more results.

Palmer's Skin Success Cream is a good product.

This product is pretty good. It did help lighten my skin in areas that were starting to darken. I wish I could give it a better score but I do believe it would have worked better with continual use on my part. It is pretty inexpensive for what it does, so I would recommend giving it a try if you have the extra money to spare. I have used Palmer's product line for many years and it is a great line of products. I have a very favorably opinion about this company and would recommend most of their products. This one is a new one for me and I may not have given it a fair shot but I would try it again if I had the same problems but for now what I was using it for is no longer my present situation and I no longer need to use this type of produt. But like I said it seems to be a good product especially with continued use, I personally feel it would be a product worth trying for someone who needs a fade product.
