Not as effective

I picked up a palmer's cocoa butter formula swivel stick when I was pregnant because I thought it would be easy to apply the stick to my belly. It had a really dry feeling and after just a few uses the stick just fell out of the container. I think I will just stick to the lotion.

I am never without my Palmer's Cocoa Butter Stick!

Yes, I'll admit it. I am a lip balm junkie! At least, I was until I found Palmer's Cocoa Butter stick. I became addicted to lip balms in my teens, and have used every single brand, kind, flavor, and color of balm since. I am very picky about taste, smell, and texture of lip balms -- and you probably know what I mean -- some are greasy or waxy, or too mentholated, or sticky and gluey. All that went out the window when I picked up Palmer's stick. I love the consistency; it's smooth and hydrating, not sticky, and it smells like cocoa butter. No weird aftertaste, it's never melted in my pocket or purse...the only vaguely weird thing about it is the size. It really is the size of a large glue stick. People will comment when you swipe it on, but don't let that deter you! My lips have never been softer, and they used to get extremely chapped in the winter (and even bleed sometimes, ew), but this year, I had ZERO issues! If you have picky, chapped lips, do yourself a favor and try Palmer's!

Another Palmer's product to swear by

"Wait, is that... a glue stick?" I've gotten that response about a dozen times when I've pulled out my Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick to use as lip balm. Your tiny little chapstick cannot compare to my glue stick-sized swivel stick!! But I swear by this product (and Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E lotion). For a marginally higher price point, this 0.5oz stick should last you over a year's usage. I love how soft and moisturized my lips feel after application and it doesn't try out my lips the way some other brands of lip balm might. You can also use it as skin protection/moisturizer: I use some on my upper cheeks and right below my eyes to protect me from getting chapped due to cold winds. Sometimes when my finger tips are super dry, I spread some on them as well rather than use lotion if I don't need all that much. It definitely feels like magic in a stick. Cocoa butter rocks and so does Palmer's!

When colder temperatures roll around, my lips get so chapped that even the best of all chapsticks known to man will help me! In fact, I used to be that kid in school that always had the red ring around her lips because they would get chapped and I would keep licking my lips to keep them from hurting. That was until a friend of mine recommended a product that she's been using for years! Enter the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick. This little (or should I say big) stick is a Godsend! They took the Palmer's Cocoa Butter product that we all know and love and wrapped it up in one sweet little tube that you can use like a chapstick! It's larger than the usual tube of chapstick, more like a gluestick, which is what my friends call it whenever they see me whip it out of my purse. Nothing cures my chapped lips better! Plus it has no artificial colors or crazy fragrances/flavors, just the wonderful scent of cocoa butter which I absolutely love. It goes on so smoothly and keeps my lips incredibly moisturized for hours.
