The lifetime on these devices seems to be about two years. I've dropped mine multiple times, but it finally stopped working about a month after the last fall with no apparent provocation, no nothing. While it was working, though, it was a very useful tool. I used a limited number of programs on it, and... review »

I did really like this Palm, when it was working.  It was simple to use, and got the job done.  I don't need a whole lot of features, I was really just using it for contacts and the calendar.  For those purposes, it's a great product.  My only issue with it is that I can no longer use it because... review »

I have owned this product for a little over a year and already it is not functioning. I have taken very good care of it, I have not dropped it or gotten it wet. The screen has always made an annoying buzzing noise and now it behaves erraticly at best. I would not recommend this product to anyone, it is not worth the price payed.

This Palm definitely gets the job done. I like the Bluetooth option as well- saves me from having to enter information on more than one device (ie, cell phone). Small, fits in my purse. No problems as of yet.

Product was cheaper on the Palm website than where I bought it. Bummer.

This is a very reliable palm product. I have had my Tungsten E2 for a few years and not had any major challenges with it.  It is simple to use and does the basics of what I need it to do.  I would definately recommend this for individuals who are not particular technically inclined but still want to utilize the efficiency that comes with using a palm or PDA device. The only thing I really do not like is not being able to access the internet using the device with out having to purchase an additional piece of equipment.  In the future it would be nice if internet acces where integrated into the... review »

This is a nice PDA that takes abuse. My big problem is it memory, or lack there of. I know, it has a card.  That is nice for some things, like music, pics and documents. The main problem is the difficulty in telling it to put programs on the card instead of the internal memory. Why is it a problem? Well, it also uses internal memory as a type of RAM, or at least that is what it seems like. I was unable to put an update on the unit that was only about 10% smaller than the space left. It would only get through part of the update, then crash. Another problem, is no internet access. Inorder to access... review »

I've owned the Palm Tungsten E2 for almost 2 years now.

The good: the Palm OS is solid and easy to use. It provides a lot of the basic Personal Information managment (PIM) functionality and there is a decent catalog of Palm OS software out on the market, although some of it is looking overpriced especially in the advent of the iPhone and it's App Store.

The bad: with the iPhone, iPod touch, Palm Treo and other devices becoming so prevalent the audience for such a bare device is decreasing rapidly. Of particular note is the lack of WiFi or web-browsing functionality. The device comes with minimal...

They no longer seem to make a quality product.  I had problems with this unit from the first.  The battery died early, but luckily I had bought a replacement so was able to use it longer.  Then when it got stuck in a cycle of trying to calibrate the screen it was $159 to get it repaired, so now I am without a PDA at all.  This is ridiculous to charge almost as much to repair as it is to buy a new one or a cell phone with a PDA built in.  I am really disappointed in the new products.

The E2 was a gift from my wife.  It's my first PDA and I have to say I'm hooked.  It's really easy to use.  I was able to add internet usage by buying a WI-FI card, but I must say it is still a little slow.  It's also not that great in surfing regular sites.  However it really helps keeping up with e-mails and such when I'm on the road.  The battery usage is great, I only recharge about once a week.  Calender and contacts are wonderful.  I would buy this product again.

I couldn't live without my E2, however I worry that it will stop working at any moment.  When dropped even gently the screen can get out of synchronization, and it may reset itself (no data loss).  The cover it comes with starts to tear at the edges, but there are no replacement parts available.

The Palm Tungsten E2 is a great handheld PC. It has a lot more storage when purchased with an SD card. Easy to use. Instructions are simple and easy to follow set up guide. The slim look is not bulky and is easy to carry with you.  Well recommended.

Use my Tungsten E2 Handheld every day for medical database searches. Easy to use, takes ALOT of hard knocks (dropping, hitting, etc) and keeps on ticking. Really long battery life. I couldn't practice medicine without it.
