Every day computer user, depending on calendar and contact list
Pros

    nice amount of memory

I had gotten a Tungsten E a couple of years ago at Target for around $200. I was impressed with the increase in memory and the fact that, like it's predecessor, it could syncronize contacts and calendar with Microsoft Office Outlook. It also came with standard issue "documents to go" software which permits syncronization of microsoft excel and word files.

I liked the fact that it was light. Knowing I am klutzy, I accessorized with a hard aluminum case and I also use display protectors.

On balance, it has worked very well. It does help me track my contacts and calendar. I also used Pocket Quicken software (extra) to synchronize between the handheld and my quicken software.

My biggest current beef with it is that the battery is not user-replaceable. Now, it doesn’t hold a charge very well. I need to charge it for a couple of hours nearly every day. I keep charges at home at the office and in the car to help with this.

However, I'm wondering if I need to keep it too much longer because the newer cell phones have contacts and calendars. The Motorola Razr's, which I am looking at for an upgrade in a few months, maintain calendar and contact lists. I've seen online that there are available software packages that claim they can syncronize with Microsoft Outlook.

So, it's possible that I will not need to carry an extra device around.
