Palm Centro Smartphone —

I went to the Verizon store originally to purchase a blackberry, and was told that there was a required additional internet access fee of about $40 to purchase one, along with the regular phone bill.  I was then shown the Palm Centro.  I was a little wary at first, because it looked complicated, but I figured I would get it.  I have never owned a touch screen phone before, but this was a great first buy.  The only drawbacks to it are the extremely small keys on the keyboard, and the touch screen activating when you're on the phone.  On the screen, when you're on a call with someone, there is a "hang up" button.  I have hit this many times with my cheek while on a call with someone.  There is an option to lock the screen when you're on the phone as well; I just have not done it yet.  The keyboard keys are very, very small.  If I had long nails, I don't think I would be able to use it.  Also, when you get a number such as 1800HILTON, it's difficult to tell what letter coincides with what number, because it is a full keyboard.  Other than those drawbacks, I love it!
