Getting ready for bed has never been so much fun! When my grandson came for an overnight visit (Yea!) he brought along his current bedtime story, Pajama Time! by Sandra Boynton. This is the classic story of a menagerie of characters discovering that it's fun to hit the hay. Boynton transforms what could have been an ordinary kiddie tale of bedtime routines from a less imaginative author, into a rousing, nighttime celebration.

Fun bedtime book to ease little ones to sleep

We absolutely LOVE Sandra Boynton books in our house. Pajama Time is one of our all time favorites. My oldest son still asks for us to read this to him and now wants to read it to his little brother. Thanks to Philadelphia Chickens we also know how to sing along to this book. We have given this book along with Snuggle Puppy and others as gifts to new babies. I would highly recommend this book for parents to read or sing to their children to help and establish a fun and less stressful bed time routine.

The most fun (& requested) bedtime book in our collection

This board book is lots of fun to read as a rhythmic "rap". You can easily develop your own style-but beware, you may never be able to get it out of your head! My one-year-old insists on reading it at least twice every time she goes to bed. The illustrated animal characters are typical Sandra Boynton-cute, expressive and hilarious. This is a great addition to any bedtime collection!

I love this book - you can have fun with the rhymes, with the rhythm, with the idea of animals in pajamas, and with talking about bedtime. It's one of my favorite books to read to my daughter at bedtime... before one that is a little more soothing and quiet, of course!
