Behr Ultra Premium Ultra Premium Interior Paint
I work full-time and really don't have too much time or cash for much needed home improvements. Behr Ultra Premium provided the best coverage for some minor home improvement needs...no need to pay for extra primers and no "unsightly" smells. It IS the best paint on the market.
Valspar Interior Semi-Gloss Paint
This is the worst paint I have ever used, by far. If you want to save some money, get Behr, if you value your time and want the best finish, stick with Benjamin Moore.
I bought 2 gallons of Valspar semi-gloss (base 4) to paint our nursery in anticipation of our first child. The room has about 400 sq ft of walls and was previously painted with a light color, the new color was quite a bit darker. I was fairly satisfied after putting the first coat on... until it dried. Areas that I thought I had covered perfectly were showing through the old color.

Sherwin Williams promar 200
I went into a Sherwin Williams store after having a bad paint experience with a "big box" store. They suggested Pro Mar 200 Eg Shell to complete my kitchen project.
The paint covered in one coat except for where I tried to keep using the roller til the paint went out! I ended up only needing 1 gallon to complete the job.
I got two gallons from another store, and the second didn't match the first. I opened the can from Sherwin Williams and the paint was so much thicker, and the right color the first time.

Behr Ultra is a paint and primer in one can. This paint saves you from having to prime the surface first and then apply your two coats of paint. Interior and exterior both provide excellent coverage so sometimes you only need one coat of paint. The exterior paint is awsome. It adheres quite well even when you can't get the surface entirely clean. From what i've noticed so far, this paint has held up very well through the elements in Ohio weather. Behr offers a good quality product at a reasonable price. Eventually the price will lower a bit more.

I hesitated to buy any Kilz products for a long time thinking there was a lot of hype placed on this product. You know, wanting more money for something that doesn't really work. Well, I just happened to be in Wal-Mart when they had a sale on the paint. I bought some thinking that I would give it a try, not really thinking it would work. I had some red walls that needed covering and I thought that this would be a great test to see how it would work! If it covers my red in one coat I was going to be sold on this product! Low and behold I started painting and it actually covered the red in one coat!...

This is an awesome paint. Its a craft paint. But it is still great for around the house activites. As long as you dont try to paint the entire house. Its hot pink craft paint. 2 fl. ounces. Has a picture of an apple on the label of the bottle. Brand name is apple barrel colors... Processed in 1997. Its made by Enterprises inc. in Norcross GA.
