Pacquin Plus Hand & Body Cream —

Like so many others, I am bereft at the discontinuing of Pacquin's.  I have been using it for at least 50 years for all the reasons so many others have already described.  Luckily I found a jar of it squirreled away in my closet, so I have not gone cold turkey just yet.

Several years ago while visiting Germany, a German friend introduced me to Kamille-a German-made hand cream.  I was very inpressed with it at the time & brought back a couple of jars, then stuck them away & forgot about them until recently when I realized I would have to find a substitute for Pacquin's.

I've been using the old Kamille & have been very pleased with the results & think you all would be also.  Just "Google" Kamille or Herbacin Kamille & you will find many places to buy it online.  It is reasonably priced, unlike the $50.00 jar of Pacquin's that is now on eBay.  (And 12 very desperate, or rich, people have bid on it!)  I think the ingredient we all miss in the Pacquin's is the glycerin.  Kamille has glycerin plus silicon plus camomile, which gives it a pleasing delicate scent.

I hope you will try it & like it as much as I do.

A good friend of mine told me about how special Pacquin was for her, her mother, and her mother's mother. It really struck a chord for me, and I talked to a friend of mine who's a world-class chemist. He agreed to work with us to develop something that does exactly what Pacquin does - effectively creates a silk glove for your hands without that oily feeling! But now we need your help. Would anyone out there be interested in helping us develop this product, creating the name, designing the label, and things like that? Most Sincerely, Steve - ZebraSkimmers@Yahoo.com
