I have had my Kitchen Aid stand mixer for over 15 years. It is the most used small appliance in our home! I had seen the Scrape-A-Bowl in the store, but was very hesitant about purchasing one. I received a Scrape-A-Bowl for Christmas and cannot believe I waited so long for such a great added bonus for my Kitchen Aid mixer! I will probably not use my other beaters since this one does such a great job! In the past the bowl always had some flour or cake mix in the bottom of the bowl, not now since this beater scraps as it goes. I have washed it in the dishwasher and it did just fine. As much as we use it we might need to purchase another one!

I like many others love homeade cookies. I prefer to make them with my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. It is the best tool I own for making cookies and other treats. However, I hate having to constantly stop and scrape the side of the bowl so I can get all of the ingredients incorporated. It can be a little time consuming. My mother bought me this POURperfect scrape-a-bowl kitchen aid stand mixer accessory. This seriously saves me time, and leaves less mess to clean up in the bowl. It has a plastic cover that flexs to scrape everything off the sides of the bowl. No more having to grab my spatula to make sure every ingredient is incorporated. I just attach it to the mixer, and I am on my way to having my favorite delicious cookies without all of the extra trouble that I would normally have. This is a little pricier than most would prefer, however, it is truly worth the investment. More cookies without all the fuss, buy this product.

I am a big-time cookie maker. No matter what new kinds of cookies I come up with, the boys always want the Oatmeal Butterscotch. My husband made my life **tons **easier when he bought me a [Kitchen Aid 5 qt. Artisan Stand Mixer][1] . I didn't think making cookies could get any easier... then I spotted the Scrape-A-Bowl stand mixer accessory at Williams-Sonoma. Basically you would use this instead of the flat beater attachment on the 5 qt. Artisan Stand Mixer. It's shaped like a wave and the edges are rubber coated. There's a flexible rubber ridge along the edges of this blade. It makes the Scrape-A-Bowl well, for lack of a better term... scrape the bowl! Since the edges are flexible it doesn't get stuck or jammed on something. When I used to make the cookies, I'd have to periodically stop and use a rubber spatula to scrape the cookie dough that got missed by the regular flat blade back into the center. Sometimes I would have to amp up the speed to get everything mixed. I don't do that any more with this attachment! Yeah, it's expensive. But you already sunk a good amount of cash into the mixer anyway and this is well worth it. It will make your cookie-making life so much easier. Pretty much any kind of batter that you had to periodically scrape will not need to be scraped anymore when you get one of these!
