PetSmart Beta Fish —

I have many of the great reviews on PetSmarts fish. Perhaps it is just my lack of luck that causes me to pick out the wrong fish, however, I have had no luck at all with any of them from the teeny goldfish to the Betas.

Is there a secret to keeping them alive? Of course I've fed them, cleaned their tanks, used all the recommended water treatments and have been known to talk to the fish too. All to no avail.

I think I'll stick with my cats and Bugg!

I, ALSO HAVE HAD BAD LUCK IN KEEPING BETA FISH ALIVE. I FINALLY GAVE UP AND DECIDED TO STICK WITH MY BIRDS AND DOGS - GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU WHO MAY BE STILL TRYING TO KEEP BETA 'S GOING. MY THOUGHT IS THEY SHOULD BE LEFT IN THE WILD WITHOUT HUMAN INTERVENTION,
