Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion I believe is a great game. It has good story depth, good quests, and loads of mods for the PC to enhance game play.
The games story line is about saving the amulet of kings, and to do so, you must enter the gates of Oblivion.

Starting out as a mere peon, you join guilds, exceed in short and long quests, and make a name for yourself in this fantasy world. Big map layout, excellent graphics, and good gameplay is what makes this game addictive.

Compared to Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind - Oblivion has enhanced the engine for better graphics, control, and playability. The downfall...

The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion  is by far the best game I have ever played. It is an extreemly addicting, captivating, spellbinding role playing game that keeps you entertained with a great many quests, places to explore, plants to find, people to save (and doom), creatures to defeat, and so much more!

Oblivion has hundreds of Quests, most that you can choose weather you want to complete or not without the worry of interfering with the main quests of the game. You can also go to The Elder Scrolls website and find even more quests, both from the official modders, and from other addicts that created...

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is the best computer/game console game ever known to man. I got hooked on the Elder Scrolls Series starting with Morrowind about 3 years ago and still enjoy playing it now. Oblivion starts where Morrowing ended, but its is a totally different world with different objectives and charaters plus if you get the Game Of The Year Edition you get 2 bonus expansion packs with it. You get "Knights of the Nine" and "Shivering Isles". Oblivion allows you to totally immerse yourself into a fantasy world like none other. The graphics are amazing and the playability is actually quite...

Oblivion is a must have pc game. It's an older game that totally surpasses what's out there now. This game came after Morrowind so it's faster, prettier and just better to play. I've been playing it for quite awhile and I'm still not bored, even with the main quest finished. There still is so much more to do. It's stunning graphics please me to no end without needing a high end graphics card. You can choose to be many different types of characters, being a single player game. There are so many activities to do, different quests to accomplish. You cast spells, fight, interact with the local people...

I am not the typical RPG gamer. I have never been a fan of the games where you pick your actions from a menu. This is a real-time RPG. It is wide open from the begining, although one might want to watch where they venture. High-level nasties, and locked doors may block your way. If you are a mage, dispatching the baddies will come easier. If you are a theif, you can take care of those pesky locks with ease. But, your class is not limited. You can essentially become a master in every skill. The voice acting is top-notch, and the graphics are breath-taking at times. If you have a PC capable of running... review »

My husband and I have been playing Oblivion for over a year now, and have yet to get bored.  You create your character, but then build on that to create a unique character.  You can play as a good, evil, or neutral person.  There are so many side quests that we have not yet done them all.  You can finish the main quest without the game ending, meaning that you can then spend time doing more side quests.  The graphics are great!!  There is a lot of realism in this game.  I would recommend it to anyone who loves role playing games.

Best rpg on the Xbox 360 and PC. You can never get bored of it, and there's always something different in every game. So if you choose to restart, you can take a endless number of paths!
