PS, I Love You, by Cecelia Ahern is one of the best books I've read lately. have yet to see the recently released movie, but I doubt it will be able to live up to its counterpart (the book). It was sweet, sad, funny and real. I am a fan of different cultures as well and the hilarity of these Irish characters carries the story to the end.
The familiar sounding title of the book caught my eye in the library one day and once I read the jacket I realized I'd heard of the movie and wanted to see it. I hadn't known it was based on a book...
I'm not sure of when the book was published but I can say that as a young author, Cecelia Ahern did an excellent job.
