P.S. I Love You —

I'm sure I'm losing quite a few man-points by writing this review, but the catharsis I experienced while watching makes it worthwhile.  P.S. I Love You is by far one of the best movies I've ever seen and certainly among the most touching.  This movie will force you to feel beyond anything you've ever felt before unless you've dealt with the loss of a spouse.  This movie was far different than what i expected.  I thought it'd be another chick flick.  Granted, it had it's male-bashing, estrogen-filled moments, but the storyline was one that anyone can relate to.

Ironically, my wife fell asleep during the movie, but I couldn't.  It was hard to pull myself away, despite the overwhelming emotion.  I'm intentionally not talking about the storyline, because it's something you need to see for yourself.

As the movie progressed, I couldn't help wondering how much greater the loss must be for those who've spent their entire lives together.  That stream of consciousness reminded of the movie The Notebook and the love that couple experienced against seemingly insurmountable odds, finally ending up together in eternity.

Thank you good sir. I read your dominoes review. I was hoping it was just the store nearby and not a national thing. Ah well, thank goodness there are other pizza places. Have you heard of Cousin Vinny's Pizza?

You lose no "man points" here.
