This makes dish washing so much easier!

5

I wash the majority of my dishes in the dishwasher, but I am one of those people who likes the dishes to be "clean" before I put them in the dishwasher. This brush helps me clean off the dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher, and helps me wash dishes when I actually wash them by hand. I had a brush similar to this that was made by another brand, and the dish soap was constantly leaking out of the brush and gumming up the handle. I was hesitant to purchase another brush because of that experience, but I like the idea of using a brush much more than using a dish cloth, so I gave it another shot. As is the case with all the OXO products I own, this one far outperforms the brush I owned previously. The soap stays where it belongs, the bristles are stiff enough to do their job, but soft enough not to scratch the finishes on cookware or dishes. I would have no reservations recommending this to anyone who hand-washes dishes at all. This will make dish-washing faster and much more pleasant!

OXO Squirt Brush looks really nice, works okay

I received the OXO Soap squirting dish brush as a present this past holiday season. This is not something I would have bought for myself (I'm too cheap). It has a good look to it. All stainless steel. The looks put their Good Grips palm brushes to shame. The brush seems a little too big for my hand. It doesn't feel uncomfortable, just a little big. With the stainless steel it looks nice enough to sit out all the time; but that steel can sure be slippery when wet. Some reviewers have noticed that it leaks. I haven't had that problem. Yet it does seem to use quite a bit of soap. Perhaps it is leaking and I'm just not seeing it? I doubt that, though. I think it just releases a lot of soap with each squirt. I usually have a hard time getting the soap to come out. I have to push the button several times to get any. It cleans up really well. I haven't noticed any food or grime build-up on it and I use it quite a bit. I'm not sure I would recommend it. It works okay, but I found that a few drops of dish soap on a sponge works better even if it doesn't look as good.

It's ok, not all that impressive

I saw good reviews of the Oxo soap squiring dish brush and wanted to try it out, but I have not been impressed by it. I can never get a good feel of how much soap I use by the squirt. Sometimes I feel that it's way too much soap and I'm wasting a good amount of money that way. After some uses the soap started to leak as well which was not a good sign. Soap should not leak in such products, else where are the savings other than it being fancy? One thing to note is that if you dilute the soap solution or if you have filled it with a soap and water solution I find the "squirt" function does not work all that great. On the good points - it has a nice look to it and it also feels good in the hand. You can also see that it is an effective tool for cleaning pots and pans with lots of baked on stuff. This is not the cheapest way to get the job done because of the above reasons, but it looks and feels good when holding it and looks nice on the counter. I just don't feel that it is worth the money with all the soap wastage.

way better than a sponge for cleaning those dishes!

Show of hands for who loves washing dishes by hand?  Thought so -- same here and add to my dislike the usual skin drying effect using a sponge to wash dishes has.  I searched for a solution and found this Oxo brush and glad I did.  While you may still get your hands a little soapy from time to time, this brush minimizing the contact with the dishwashing liquid that comes with washing dishes by hand. The bristles seem to be really rugged yet soft enough to not scratch pots and pans.  I especially like using it for getting the ceramic insert of my slow cooker cleaned up, as often food may get hardened on the sides.  This brush makes removing any stuck-on or hard to clean foods disappear in just a couple of moments. The only downside I find is you may need a lot of dishwashing liquid in the compartment in order for the button to respond well to adding more suds.  When I don't feel like adding more, I sometimes put more dishwashing soap directly on the bristles, so this feature doesn't affect my overall recommendation of the Oxo brush.

I pink sparkly heart my OXO Soap Squirting Brush

I adore this stainless steel OXO Soap Squirting Brush! It is amazing. I absolutely hate washing dishes but I am my family's dish washer so I want it to be as easy as possible. I have tried many different brushes but they leak, get nasty fast and break/fall apart with lightning speed. I tried a different OXO brush and used it for several years off and on when I could find the replacement heads which isn't very often. I also put up with the leaks all around my sink because leak it did. I bought a pack of replacement heads but accedently got the heads for stainless steel brush. That same night my toddler decided to clean the sink for me and broke the handle part. I was stuck with two new heads for an OXO stainless steel soap squirt brush. I hopped online and bought a new brush ~ that stainless steel type to go with the heads I bought by accident. I was very excited when it arrived. Yes, I am nerdy to get excited by a dish brush, this I realize. It is great. The heads snap on easily for when you need to get a new one. The soap dispenses easily yet doesn't leak all over like my old one. It cleans like a dream, gunk removes with ease and the brush isn't stained by yucky leftovers. This dish brush is a winner in my book.

Practical use, classy look!

**OXO Soap Squirting Dish Brush     **is a must-have for every kitchen, I'm convinced.  We were so in love with this from the get-go that we bought it on our honeymoon--how nerdy is that?  We  love the entire OXO Good Grips line, including this amazing little dish brush.  It has a very practical use, but a very classy look.  Just because it's a kitchen gadget doesn't mean it has to be ugly or boring-looking!  I love that all of OXO's products are great quality, very practical, and bring a touch of class to the kitchen.                                                                                                                         --  Sturdy, effective:  This dish brush does its job well!  It's a very sturdy handle and very sturdy brush attachment.  I also love that the brush attachment is able to be replaced, so even when it gets worn down, you don't have to buy a whole new product, just a brush attachment. --  The only flaw with this product is that the rubber flap that keeps the soap enclosed comes open somewhat easily.  As long as you keep an eye out for it, and take caution to not bump it loose.

Oxo brush is way better than a sponge

Oxo soap squirting dish brush is great.  I really do not like using sponges for a lot of tasks, so I was really excited when a roommate introduced me to the Oxo soap dish brush.  The Oxo brush cleans dishes really well and you do not even have to get your hands dirty.  It is nice to have a brush that just stays in the sink.  The brush also dispenses soap, which is an awesome and convenient feature.  I like that you can keep the base and replace the bristles whenever it is necessary or as often as you like.  I like having a brush for dishes that is separate from cleaning your counters.  It is a useful tool for scrubbing and cleaning dishes, pots, silverware, etc.  The bristles are also not strong enough to scratch surfaces on pots and pans.  I am really glad I was introduced to the Oxo soap squirting dish brush.  The Oxo brush makes doing dishes easier and more enjoyable.  It is worth a try if you are unhappy with a sponge to wash dishes.

The Oxo Soap Squirting Dish Brush is great!

The Steel Oxo Soap Squirting Dish Brush is one of the best tools that I have ever bought for washing dishes. Although an automatic dishwasher would be my first choice, this is a close second. I used to have the plastic version and I was very unhappy with it because it leaked the dishwashing liquid. So, I was nervous to get this one - especially since it is more expensive than the plastic. But I was pleasantly surprised, The handle does not leak at all and the seal around the refill hole has remained in-tact for the past 3 years. I also love that you can change out the brush for a sponge or a scrub sponge if you prefer. The cost can be off-putting to some since there are many similar products for much less, but I would not trust them. First of all, many of the others di not have brushes that can be replaced, so you end up having to purchase an entirely new unit, which can add up. And when this happens, you may have to throw out the remaining soap in the handle. And secondly, most others that I have tried leaked, as I mentioned early - even OXO's lower-end scrubbers. The only real drawback I see is that I cannot really wash my glasses with this. I will need to buy one of their wands or another product. But I still think this is the best product for washing dishes that I have ever bought.
