To the Point

Imagine my surprise when the weekend after I ate at the Olive Garden (reviewed) we spent the weekend with friends and they used the same cheese grater as the Olive Garden. It's terrific which is perhaps why a restaurant and my friends who love to cook both have it.

A Closer View

The OXO Seal and Store Rotary Cheese Grater is advertised as being used not only for cheese but also for chocolate shavings. I've only seen it used to grate cheese.

It can be grated right over the food or we could have grated the cheese in the white, plastic chamber to be emptied out when we were ready to use...

I use a lot of cheese in my cooking and this item is a must have item. Not only does it save your fingers and hands from scraps, but this item is much more convenient, easier to use, and quicker than the old style cheese grader. I usually buy my cheese in blocks and grade it all at one time. Blocks are usually cheaper than already graded cheese and you have the convenience of freezing your cheese in individual portions specifically catering to your need.

Don't you just hate it when you have to grate cheese for a pizza or some other type of cheesy meal? I know I do. However, I found the answer for both of us...The Oxo Seal and Store Rotary Cheese Grater. I was flabergasted at how easy this gadget is and how quickly it gets the job done. And there is no chance for accidentally slicing a thumb on the grater either. This is the way to grate cheese in a hurry!

the oxo seal and store rotary cheese grater has been a wonderful product in my kitchen the man in my home loves pimento cheese he eats it by the barrels .this little gadget is a great help on preparing it.. also grating cheese for salads to store and use later .we eat lots of foods that calls for grated cheese so this would be one of the best products any one could own in their kitchen

I have used my cheese grater on many occasions. When using a traditional cheese grater, there always seemed to be left over balls or hunks of cheese that you either left, threw away, or took a knife to.

The Rotary cheese grater eliminates that. It is more sanitary as well. Your hand never has to melt into the block cheese.

Highly recommended.

The Oxo Seal and Store Rotary Cheese Grater is a great little gadget. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and saves your fingers! It allows you to shread extra cheese and store it so you only have to use/wash the grater once. There is absolutel no way to cut your knuckles on this grater. Great tool for the kitchen.

I bought this product to replace another well known brand and I like this one much better. It comes with a cover to store the leftover cheese, the opening is airtight also to prevent any drying out. It is made of durable plastic and is dishwasher safe.

While it may be a uni-tasker it is handy and convenient. Oxo does it again with an ergonomically well designed gadget that really works. Cheese stays fresh (no more unidentifiable moldy bits in the back of the refrigerator) and at the ready. Great for any kitchen.

Oxo seal and store rotary cheese grater. This gadget makes grating cheese so easy. It's just like in the restraunt where the server makes it look so effortless. It works just that way at home. I like to work smarter, not harder.

This is the best gadget since sliced bread. I buy the brick of parmesan and my daughter goes crazy. Grated cheese is all over. The bread, salad, and whatever the main course happens to be. I could not live without this gadget.

We were excited to recieve this as a gift, but after a few uses realized it's easier said than done. The handle pops off occasionally which doesn't allow for easy flow of the grating process.

I love my Oxo Seal and Store Rotary cheese grater. I always have it ready to use in my fridge so we have fresh grated cheese for every meal. It's alot easier than using a full size grater.

The oxo seal and rotary cheese grater looks as though it would keep the cheese fresh and make grating fresh cheese easier, but I'm not sure how often I would use it for grating.
