During warm weather you can find me outside or under my truck working and getting pretty messy as well. I have a habit of finding grease no matter how well it tries to hide from me...lol When I paint I can get just as much on the piece I am painting as well as my self. Sure my wife pre-treats things but that isn't always enough to get the job done. Those are the times she uses Oxyclean to get my stuff clean and ready for my next adventure in the great outdoors.

OxyClean

This stuff works especially well with our hard water from the well and just makes laundry so much easier on her. She works full time while I make messes full time...So it all equals out in the end...lol I also found another use for OxyClean that some may already know about and some may not. I use about a scoop full in a 1/2 gallon pail of water and use it to scrub the inside of my pool. The liner seems to gets this brownish stain every year and every year I scrub it to get rid of it.

I will take a little bit of Dawn Dish-washing soap on a rag and use it along with the solution of OxyClean to tackle my pool liner. I know it is gentle and don't worry about using it in the pool. It has not harmed the liner nor made adjusting the water chemicals any harder than normal. I seriously think it helps keep my pool clean and easy to care for but I have not found anything to back that up with.

I do know I don't have as many problems as friends in keeping my pool sparkling clean and they always ask me how I do it. I don't like using a lot of pool chemicals and I stick to the ordinary household stuff to maintain my pool. I do know I spend less than 1/2 of what family and friends do and my pool is always clear and free of algae.

Bottom Line

OxyClean makes cleaning much easier and I am certain it is responsible for helping keep my pool clean as well. I know it helps keep my clothes cleaner and makes my wife's job easier.
