For tough set-in stains, I have found that it takes longer than the 1-6 hours stated on the label.  To get out tough stains, I rub OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover into the stain after I have submerged the item into the soaking solution.  I then repeat this every couple of hours until the satin has disappeared.
