I ordered a bench for a Christmas gift from Overstock.com on December 12th . It was shipped to a FedEX location on December 14th. From that point on, there was no longer any communication despite attempts to find out where the bench was! Today I received an email saying the bench had been returned and my money refunded. I 'chatted' with a person who said there was a 'shipping' error, and the bench was no longer in stock. If it was out of stock, why did the tracking information show that it had been shipped to a FedEx location?? Could they not have told me that when I contacted them on Dec. 21st....when I was assured of Christmas Eve delivery...or on December 24th, when I called them again?!!
From now on, I'm shopping elsewhere, even if it means paying a little more for reliable service.
