My husband and I just invested in the PureBliss Bamboo mattress from Overnight Mattress in an attempt to hop on the eco-friendly bandwagon without breaking our pockets (bamboo is biodegradable). We're using this mattress in our guest room for now but I am hoping to move it over in to our room eventually.
I've spent a few nights on this bed because I like it so much. My doctor recommended that I buy special allergy sheets and pillow covers a few months back but they were far too expensive for my budget. This bed honestly helps control my allergies. I don't feel as stuffy when I sleep on it. Apparently bamboo contains natural antibacterial elements that help fight off pests, fungus and more.
I was told that this mattress is quilted, which means there is conventional foam sewn in under the fabric. There is also a pillowtop.
The foundation is the same easy-to-build foundation as our PureBliss Aloe Vera bed. It was also $300 cheaper for the mattress and foundation than our other bed... and a better bed altogether in my opinion. It's good for me and the environment.
