I picked this soap up the other day because of its intriguing label. With it's lovely giraffe silhouette in a golden sunset, this **Out of Africa Organic Shea Butter Complexion Bar** had an even more valuable reason for me purchasing it, besides its wonderful ingredients. Did you know that **each bar purchase** gives a  **5 cent contribution to help provide education** to **children in West Africa**? And that the  **Unrefined 20% Shea Butte**r used in this bar, which is from Benin, West Africa also provides jobs and helps support several women's co-operatives in Democratic Benin? Shea Butter is grown there, and its production also supports a ground breaking project for school children to help support education and local enterprises. I like that **every time that I use this bar, I am being reminded that my purchase has made a difference for others less fortunate**. This Organic 20% Unrefined Shea Butter Complexion Bar is wonderful to use. It lathers quickly, its creamy emollience spreads fast, and washes off with no soapy, tight feeling left behind. It smells wonderfully clean and refreshing.  It contains **20% Unrefined Shea Butter**, while most products only contain under **1-2% refined** (**processe**d) Shea Butter. This Shea Butter is the real stuff. It is as it comes from Nature, with minimal processing to keep its remarkable emollient properties intact. **Shea Butter** has a history of use in Africa.  With its hot sun beating down relentlessly, the protection of one's skin from the environment is very important.
