Oust Surface Disinfectant & Air Sanitizer Reviews

Oust is an air sanitizer produced by the S.C. Johnson company that comes in an aerosol can. The particular scent that I chose to purchase is their floral scent, which comes in a can with a dark pink top to the can. The can itself is the 10 ounce size, which has a nozzle on the top that when depressed, sprays the Oust Air Sanitizer around your room. The instructions read that you should choose a room, close all doors, windows, and air vents, and spray the product upward in the center of room for 10 seconds. I like that is disinfects surfaces and sanitizes the air and kills 99.9% of germs and viruses on hard and non-porous surfaces, but the Clean Scent is to strong.  I did a spritz in the hall way and my neighbors had the same issue with the scent being to strong and not really a clean fresh scent. I did feel a bit sick to my stomach with the scent. "Outdoor Scent and Citrus Scent" I found I liked much better as far as the smell.  The Outdoor scent is wonderful and I sprayed it all over and it's nice to...

Finally a spray disinfectant that kills viruses as well as germs.  Oust has done it.  They state 99.9% but that is everything in my book.  I spray the phones, kitchen counters daily. Stale smell in the air, a small squirt does it.

If you cruise like me, take it with you to spray phones, remote, toilet seat, handles that others have used & the air in the stateroom daily.  No sickness for us.  We do wash hands like Monk. Use toilettes for handrails, button on elevators, door handles, etc

     I recently tried the new Oust Surface Disinfectant and Air Sanitizer. I love the new product and reccommend it to everyone.The fact that it sanitizes while producing a pleasant smell unlike some other products that have a strong unpleasant fragrance is great. Oust seems to dissolve the odors instead of covering them up.

     I tried the clean scent and find it great for pets and everyday household odors.You can also go to the Clean Home Journal web site to get buy one get one free coupons.

I purchased Oust Surface Disinfectant and Air Sanitizer for one reason only; I couldn't find my trusty, reliable Lysol.

This stuff is terrible.  My kitchen garbage can is under a cabinet on rollers.  I pull out the full garbage bag, and I usually wash the can, and spray it with disinfectant before putting in a fresh bag.

I sprayed this into the can and found myself in a cloud of this horribly over-scented spray.  I literally dropped the can and went outside because I started coughing from it.  I wasn't expecting a big cloud of it and must have inhaled some of the fumes.

Never have I seen a product...

I am an allergy sufferer and have occassional, mild asthma.  We have cats and rabbits in our house.  With all the animals, I needed (or thought I did) something to freshen the air and bought Oust Clean Scent.  The smell isn't bad or overpowering. 

 Now, a month later, I am so sorry I brought this toxic stuff into my home.  My first clue should have been that the animals ran when I used it.  The coughing fits following it's use should have been another clue. 

 I had just bought another box of hay for the rabbits and was trying to blame the hay (something we've had in the house for years)...

Oust is the best for the money I love this and keep a can every 2 rooms in the house, It kills all oder left in the air My daughter insists on her own can just beacause she loves the smell of it, this is anouther prouduct I use when I clean for a client I always get great coments for using this, It lasts for hours and can simply be sprayed while walking threw the house, Its great for people who get surprise company often cause you can spray it on the way to the door it dose not leave huge clouds that float down imediatly. and after leaving for a few hours you can still smell it cause its still...

Absolutely love this.....I use it to sanitize my bathroom, and the first time I used it had such a wonderful clean smell.  Not a gagging, perfumy smell either.  Would definately buy again
