A family member recommended that I get an Otterbox when I purchased my IPad. It was such good advice, I take my IPad a lot of places. My grand children used my IPad and the Otterbox protects it wonderfully. The hard shell with outer rubber protects from drops,falls and normal use. The built in screen protector protects the touch screen from scratches and dust but does not interfere with the touch screen use. I am able to enjoy all the functions of the IPad with the Otterbox on that I could without it but with confidence that my IPad is protected. Sound Quality The Otterbox does not interfere with the sound or functions of the IPad Performance The. Otterbox performance is better than expected and gives peace of mind that the IPad is being protected Durability A must to protect the ipad. The Otterbox is durable,sturdy and easy to clean. Ease of Use Very easy to install and to remove. Design Design is very sophisticated but also practical. It looks more expensive than it really is.
