The Osterizer blender is abazing. It does anything. It has 10 choices to choose from not just blending. It also has a button especially to crush ice, which is very useful for when i make mocha coffee. It also processes food with the shred and gring buttons.
It can grind things from crackers to crust...

I have owned, both new and old versions of oster blenders.  Now, I own a newer version called the ostersizer and I have got to say, it does it's job, but I am not impressed.  My 70's model that finally took a crap on me in 2005 was made back when quality meant something.  A glass caraff, with a steel...

I love my oster osterizer blender it is the classic style, color, red!  First of all it looks great on the counter top, not one of those kitchen appliances that you want to hide away inbetween uses.  But even better than that is the way it works, I love it.  I think that I am a good source to give this review because I used to work at an ice cream dairy bar and made milk shakes and frappes all the time and therefor worked with a blender every day one summer.  I find that this osterizer blender works as well for milk shakes and frappes on a single family use as the commercial one that I used...

Will blend most anything!

I received the Oster "Osterizer" for a wedding gift last year.  A friend whose husband repairs small household appliances gave it to me with his seal of approval, as it is one he seldom sees in for repair!  I love the appearance of this blender, I received it in red and it stands out nicely in a kitchen of stainless steel appliances.  It has a very "retro" appearance as well-like it might be something Frank Sinatra mixed up his cocktails in in 1958.  As far as it's blending capabilities go, I haven't found anything yet that it wouldn't pulverize, including ice.  (We're looking forward to summer...

picking up after pets, fun loving, busy mom, neat freak, too busy to make beds, not rich, a dry skin sufferer, lipgloss only

i got this as a gift. i asked for a regular blender and got this WONDERFUL blender! mine came with the food processer too :) fantastic! easy to use!
