Oster Oster rice cooker/ steamer 4722 Review

I bought the Oster 4277 last year on a CVS saleusing my extra care bucks. I wasn't expecting much because it's so light weight and really doesn't look that sturdy, it's very light weight Well, looks are deceiving! This little pot rocks! I'm vegeterian, so love steaming my veggies in the top steamer while my rice cooks. I measure and add rice and water in the bottom part using the enclosed measuring cup. I then add diced veggies and seasoning to the top steamer basket. Push the start button and your set. You do have to check after about 15 minutes to make sure your water hasn't evaporated. After the rice has cooked it automatically goes to warmer mode so no scorching. Fresh garden veggies with brown rice and I'm set for a healthy low-fat meal. Clean up has been a breeze also. I just let the rice pan soak in hot sudsy water for a few minutes, wash up and done. Oh yea, it's a cute red color also.
