I give this toaster oven a three because it's very pretty to look at. That is where it stops. The designer of this machine never took in to consideration that half the population are baby boomers with poor eye sight at best. The LED settings for toast, bake, broil, etc.is so small most of us need a magnifying glass to read it, also if you set the timer per instructions on the food package you will be eating half cooked food. Oster, you need to stick with making hair clippers.

This is a rather large oven that does a variety of functions. It works well especially for small heat up meals. However it takes up a lot of space on the counter, the glass gets dirty, greasy very fast which is hard to clean and the top gets very hot. It's very important that this unit have adequate ventilation on all sides, especially the top or the cabinets could warp. I am happy with the way it cooks, not the way it looks. Besides the glass getting very dirty and grease splatters on the front, there is no tray on the bottom of the unit to slid out the crumbs. We've had to take this unit, which is heavy and turn it upside down to get the crumbs out. The racks are sturdy, the we had to buy a couple of pans to fit inside the unit to heat our food. It's not big enough for pizza or 2 separate types of items (fish and tater tots) without using a separate pan. The timer seems to be accurate, it cooks up to 450 degrees. I have never broiled anything so I have no idea how that would work. I can recommend it for most people, especially if you don't want to heat up the oven and don't have much to cook.

I received this Oster Convection Oven as a wedding present a little over seven years ago and have never had a problem with it. I like to use it more than my regular sized oven, since it helps to save energy and works just as great. Although I did not purchase this, I know that the price was a great deal and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great, little oven. I like the look of this oven, the small size and that it's lasted me all these years and most likely, many, many more to come. I basically heat up most items in here, except for when I'm baking a cake or cookies. I also like that the glass door/window is clear so you can easily check up on how things are cooking.

I love my oster toaster oven, in fact as long as my pans will fit in there I don't use my regular oven. Since I have a small family it works great and I save money on electricity. I have found this toaster oven heats up pretty fast, does a great job toasting or cooking and seems to work magic sometimes. I cannot tell you how many times I have put something in there to cook and not set a timer and when all of a sudden it beeps and turns off to say its done it is cooked to perfection! I don't know how that works but I LOVE it! Also it is very easy to clean, I find it easier than the other one I used to have. It does heat up things on top of it so you have to watch it but it works great!

It does take up a lot of counter space, but for me it is worth it. I use it in the summer instead of heating up the house with the regular oven. I think it actually cooks more evenly than my conventional oven. I like using the convection setting for faster, more intense cooking. I also prefer this setting when cooking cakes. It cooks very evenly. I don't know what I would do without it. Even Heating Cakes come out so evenly baked. Safety as long as the vents are not blocked, it is a great, safe product. I purchased the Oster Convection Oven about 2 years and it has held up great. I use it equally for cooking and toasting and it really works wonderfully. I no longer use my toaster and have cut down on my regular oven usage tremenously. It cooks evenly and It looks modern and sleek, and fits in well with my other appliances. It is however, quite large and takes up a lot of counter space. But then again, since it is so large, I am able to cook more things with it. So I can live with less room on my counter. Another notable con is that the outside heats up quite a bit. I have melted plastic bags and tupperwear containers by leaving them too close to the oven. My fault, but still, it doesn't seem like the outside should heat up hot enough to melt things that are close by. But overall, this really the best toaster/convection oven that I have owned and I plan on buying another one if and when this one breaks.

I cna't say enough good things about this oven. We received this oven as a wedding gift about three years ago and it still continues to provide us with reliable and consistent service. The first thing I love about this oven is it's simplicity. The controls do not have a bunch of fancy features that clutter and confuse the operator. I have seen this on many other appliances and do not like it. It makes things a lot easier having simply controls when all you want to do is toast a piece of bread. The second thing I like about this oven is that it warms up quickly. I do not have to wait around for several minutes using up electricity to bake a small pizza. The only thing I do not like is that the door on the oven pops out too easily. This is a minor inconvenience when the oven is 400 degrees and i might get burned easily.

Our regular oven broke and we didn't have the money to buy a new one. So, we decided to go ahead and buy a toaster oven in the mean time. We chose the Oster Concvection/toaster oven mainly because of size and price. It was in the midrange price of the ones available at our store. The size is great, I can cook casseroles in it all the time and frozen pizzas even fit. We use it just about every day for something. I use the regular bake feature and not convection most often. Things seem to cook way too fast with the convection feature. Which is good I suppose for some things, but most times the food ends up burning before I get to it. Highly recomended though for a good product at a decent price.

I started out with a different Oster toaster Oven a few years back and really liked it but after about 4 months, the door broke. Of course I couldn't take it back to the store since it was over 90 days so I contacted the company. No questions asked - they told me to throw out the old one and they would send a replacement. The one they sent me was this one - even better and nicer than the first.  We really like this one - it has a ton of features we never use (need to remind myself what it does by reading the book!) but we use it daily to make toast, re-heat food, cook frozen foods, etc. It is fairly large inside and doesn't look enormous on our counter. Everything was great... until.... the door broke. Now, at this point, we had it for over 2 years before this happened and even though I figured it was in vain b/c of the time involved, I wrote to the company again. I was honest and told them what happened (about the 1st one and that this was our replacement). I received a response back that they would be sending me a new one. I didn't even have to send the old one back.  Customer Service isn't like that anymore - I know it broke after 2 years but there aren't too many other companies that stand behind their products over 2 years and especially after they have already replaced something once.  We love the toaster oven but b/c of this, Oster will always have our business.

I love my Oster Oven.  I use it everyday for either toasting bread or warming up left overs or making a casserole.  It uses less energy then my regular oven.  My son even knows how to use it.  It is very easy to use.  The pan at the bottom allows for easy cleaning.  I love it, it does not take up too much counter space either.
