I love, love, love my Oster Bread Machine ExpressBake. I use it at least twice, if not more, times per week. I am what you would call a functional cook/baker. I do what needs to be done without a lot of frills. When this was given to me for Christmas, my husband swore that it would either stay in the box until we had a garage sale the next summer or that I would just use it once and forget about it. He has never been more wrong. I use it more for the dough setting. I like to make pizza dough, bake and then pop it into the freezer for an easy dinner after a busy day. Or save the dough and make mini-chili bowls. I have actually gotten a bit more creative with my bread and dough recipes now that I know how to just plop the ingredients in and let the machine do all of the work. Oster takes all of the work out of it - you don't even have to watch it to make sure it mixes completely. I know I can set it before I go to work or bed, put the ingredients in and have a piping hot, fresh loaf of bread that I made myself that is much cheaper than the store- bought kind. Sure it leaves a hole in the bread, but the ends can be saved to make bread crumbs for other meals. It is a nice feeling to know that I can make a totally unique loaf of bread or dough and still save money.
