Oster 5712 Electronic 2-Tier 6.1-Quart Food Steamer Reviews

My sister bought me this electric Oster 2-tier food steamer (model 5712) and I've found it to be much better than an old steamer that I had years ago. My old steamer did not cook much at a time and tended to be slow and had to be refilled while cooking. It tends to be user friendly and cooks food nicely without burning it.

How does the food taste?

Oster 5712 Electronic 2-tier food steamer is just superb! I never used a food steamer before and I didn't have any problem to use it rightaway after reading the manual. I prefer to do things parallely so that I can finish my cooking in less time. My Oster food steamer helps to do that. Steamer is not the option to cook faster but certainly it helps you not to stand in front of your stove to monitor. So you can practically do anything out of your kitchen while cooking in this steamer. It has alarm system to let you know when you need to put more water. It has a 95 minute timer with LCD display....

The Oster Steamer helps you be more health concious while not having to spend a ton of money. This product was on sale at Kohl's last weekend for about $18 which was a great price, but they were also offering a discount in addition if you used your Kohls Card. The product is easy to assemble and use right out of the box, of course cleaning it first! Its a little bulky so it would nice to have counter or under storage available. Product is easy to clean. Watch for sales as the months move ahead!

This allows you to cook two items. I cook salmon and veggies which are great.
