I was first attracted to the Oster 6316 two slice toaster because I thought it was an attractive looking toaster...everything in my kitchen is stainless steel. Not only is it is pretty to look at, it does an absolutely perfect job toasting everything from ordinary bread, to bagels, waffles, etc...It has a dial that measures the degree to which you would like the item toasted, I find this a very nice feature. The options are also helpful, they include: frozen, warm, toast, bagel, & waffle. What ever the item you are toasting, you can choose to perfection how it will turn out. My familly uses this toaster several times a day and we have no complaints. As often as we use it, we have never had a problem with it. My only concern is that one day we will eventually wear it out and I worry that I will be able to find the exact same model again. A family friend got her toaster (a different brand) about the same time I got mine, she's since had to replace hers.
