The Oster 12-Speed Blender with Brushed Nickel Finish 6811 is an attractively styled, functional appliance. This unit comes with a 5-cup (48-ounce) glass carafe, with cup and liter measurement markings, a plastic lid with removable cap, and heavy-duty stainless-steel ice crushing blade assembly. The clover-shaped design of the carafe is efficient for making smoothies, milkshakes, sauces, dips, and more. Internal ribs keep the food directed down toward the blades for whirlpool-like processing. Six push-button controls offer a range of blending options with a low/high switch that lets each button perform double-duty and pulse button for short bursts of power. The jar is fitted with a wide-mouth collar that lets it nest over the base for stability when in use and also when resting on your countertop.
