Oster 12-Speed Blender - 6802 Review

A couple of years ago, I wanted to make some frozen margaritas and I started searching for my blender.  I finally found it way back in one of my cupboards.  It was about 15 years old and used to belong to my mother.  The top was stained and dingy, the buttons were about ready to fall off and at that point I knew it was time for a new one.  I went to Target and purchased the Oster 12-Speed Blender - 6802  for $34.99 and I am so glad that I did!

My Experience

This blender works great and with so much power.  I am particularly impressed with the speed that it crushes ice. According to the manufacturer, it's the exclusive all-metal drive that allows this machine to perform so well. 

When making frozen margaritas, the two-ounce removable "feeder cap" which I just simply call, measuring cup/shot glass, that is attached to the lid is so convenient. 

With the twelve speeds that this blender comes with, there is little you can't do with it.  The Easy Clean button is a really useful feature to have.  With three cups of warm water and two drops of dishwashing liquid, even the toughest stuck on foods come clean in about ten to fifteen seconds.  Although this feature is not intended to be a substitute for regular cleaning, it does make the task much easier.  

Final Thoughts

This blender is very durable, versatile and easy to use.  We have had it for about two and a half years and I have not experienced any problems with it at all.  I would recommend this blender and am giving it a 4 star rating.
