Overall, this microwave performed its duties perfectly for at least two years, but now it has its problems. It is quite large, so we keep it on a microwave cart. Performance This microwave did what it was supposed to do for at least two years, but now it has its problems, which I outlined in the "durability" section. Settings/Features The only settings I use are the cook and defrost buttons. I used to use the popcorn button, but somewhere along the way, the preset amount of time changed and it is not long enough. Ease of Cleaning The food tends to get pretty stuck on the inside of the microwave. The roof is a lot harder to clean than the bottom or sides. The plate is easy to clean in the dishwasher or by hand. Ease of Use I don't really use much of the functions of this microwave other than cook and defrost, but it looks easy to learn the rest of the buttons. Durability I've had this microwave for only a few years. I don't know what the life span SHOULD have been, but within the last 6 months, the unit has developed a problem that is quite annoying. Sometimes after I cook something, take it out, and shut the door, the microwave stays on. I have to open the door and shut it just right for the unit to stay off. This carries over into actually cooking something. If the door hasn't been shut right, the timer will not count, but the unit will be running, and the food won't cook. Design I don't look for much in the way of design when I shop for a microwave, but it is nice that this one has stainless steel. It makes me feel like I have an expensive microwave when I really don't. The handle is easy to grasp as well.

Being a college student, I use the microwave almost every day because it's lets me reheat things really quickly in the morning when I'm rushing to get ready for school. This microwave was well priced, which is the ultimate reason why I purchased this one. The only problem was that it didn't last very long as it eventually failed to heat anything up. I'm not sure if it was a defective one, but I was a bit disappointed at how it only lasted a few months. So while durability may be questionable, at least it as user friendly. It's very easy to figure out how to use it. I used it as a countertop because the house I live in doesn't have a built in microwave. It was heavy enough that it didn't slide around when opening and closing, like many of the smaller, cheaper microwaves can. So overall, I'd recommend this microwave for people on a budget.

I am one of those who still uses their microwave predominantly for reheating leftovers and this model does an excellent job without any fuss. It is very powerful and has plenty of settings to customize the job further. This Oster microwave is a good looking model and has easy to read buttons with many shortcut buttons to choose from. It has a rotating plate inside which really helps to heat things evenly. My one and only complaint is that it has some sort of mesh screen inside the glass door panel making it difficult to see the food as it is cooking. Things like scrambled eggs can expand greatly and even explode if not stopped in time and if I can't see it clearly it makes it hard to determine when that might occur...not major, but a pain at times. Overall I am very pleased with this microwave and would recommend it to anyone.

I was looking for a replacement for my Emerson Microwave, and this came across this one, it fit in the budget, looks great, goes with the rest of my appliances, and works great! Performance Have had this microwave for almost 2 years now and no hot spots yet, and bakes a great potato! Settings/Features Once you know the ins and out, they are very easy to use and the preset buttons are spot on what it takes for certain things,(ie: popcorn, potato, reheat a plate) Ease of Cleaning the outside is a bit hard to keep fingerprints off with kid using it(teens) but it cleans up fairly easy. Ease of Use I love the on touch presets! Durability I have had it for almost 2 yrs now and needing no repairs. Design Matches my kitchen, fits perfectly in the microwave cubby and doesn't stick out like some do.

This is the first microwave I have owned that lives up to it's reputation and reviews. I love the varity of settings and power levels. This is the first microwave, that when I defrost meat, it does not cook the edges, does not leave the meat hot to touch. It actually defrosts and not cook frozen items. This has so much variety, that you would have to read the owner's manuel to reap the full benefits.

When buying this microwave, we searched high and low to find the right one for our family at a decent price.  We were a little reluctant to buy this brand, because we had never heard of it before.  Upon getting it home, we tested it and it is much more powerful than our last microwave.  It is easy to clean and looks nice in any setting (we have white appliances, but it really does not clash with the stainless steel).  It has a spinning glass tray and is well lit inside.  There are only two problems I had with it in the beginning:  You must push the reset button in order to get the remaining time off it if you stop the oven early and the popcorn button is different from the previous microwave, you must set the time for the type of bags you normally purchase.  It does not give you a choice of small, medium, or large bags as some of the other brands do.  It took us a little bit of getting used to, but other than that, it has been a great little microwave.
