These were some of the best glucosamine and chondroitin pills I found based on their price, effectiveness and their strength. You can find a less expensive source however you end up taking three to six pills a day! Definitely worth buying the extra strength. Thankfully I don't need these any more since I went gluten free, but I understand that is difficult for many people. Definitely be sure to also drink plenty of water with these pills as with any other concentrated and coated supplement. I do not have arthritis or any other form joint ailment, so I am no expert on how well they work for those, but my joint pain was non existent as long as I took them everyday. I did also notice that it helped with the pain from my cyst, that also being flared up from gluten consumption. It is still there now, however it does not give me any pain. After my mother had join issues with her foot and getting on a glucosamine regimen cleared that right up.

I had back surgery last year and once I became mobile again, I added this product to my daily regimen of vitamins and minerals and supplements. Although I still have bad days, (such as when it is damp and raining and cold) I firmly believe that this product helps to control my joint pain when used on a regular basis. When I have skipped a few days, I can tell the difference. Because taking this product on a regular basis is very important to me and to the effectiveness of the ingredients, I have a weekly pill container at home and one at work as well so that if I forget to take my dosage in the morning, I have another container of them at work. I have heard of skeptics that say that any product of this type does not work, but I do believe that it does for me. The MSM in the product helps with the old "injuries" (surgery, wear and tear on my joints due to aging) and the other ingredients (Glucosamine and mostly the Condroitin) help to sooth and protect your joints every day. It is certainly I product I would recommend someone trying for themselves to see if it effective for them.

I was born with congenital birth defects in both knees, and have experienced pain in my knees since I was a toddler. I am now middle aged, and with time, the damage to my knees has gradually gotten worse. On the advice of my orthopedic doctor, I started taking a supplement to help with the pain and to slow the rate of deterioration of my joints. After discussing many options, we both decided that Osteo Bi-Flex Advanced Triple Strength Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM with 5-Loxin was a good place to start. It's easily found at most pharmacies, and while it is a bit pricey, in the end it's worth it to me. I was taking so many different medications to help with the pain and inflammation that this product actually saved me money after a while because I was able to cut out some of the others. Now, don't expect a miracle right away. It takes some time to really notice an improvement in pain. Also, don't expect the pain to go completely away. It's not a pain reliever like aspirin, but it helps to treat the source of the pain by cushioning and lubricating the joints so that they are no longer rubbing. The capsules are a large, which I don't care for, but I have never liked taking pills anyways. If you have trouble swallowing pills, they may be a problem for you. That's pretty much the only negative I have to say about this product. If you're in constant join pain, please give them a try. I've dealt with this knee problem for almost 40 years, and for once, I'm able to bend and stand back up again without needing help. It's great!

I have been using standard pain medications for years and thought I would ask my doctor about this type of product. Although I got some relief from the over the counter pills, ointments and gels i wanted something more of a preventative nature. I have bad knees and arthritic hands and am still very active with working out, tennis etc. My doctor claimed that there is no real solid evidence that these types of products work but his Dad, a doctor as well swears by it and claimed it it works great. I decided to try this product last year and it makes a huge amount of difference. The important thing to remember is to take it every day, not once a week or twice a week. In a few weeks you'll be feeling the difference and it really helps. I would be lost without Osteo Bi-Flex at this time in my life. I honestly believe this is a far better way to treat arthritic joints than pain pills. I recommend this product.

As a chronic arthritis sufferer , I will try just about anything to get pain relief . I prefer not to use RX drugs or anti-inflammatories because of potential liver and kidney damage over time . I discussed my fears with my general practitioner and he suggested I use this Osteo Biflex formula . Even though I'm relatively young, I have arthritis in my knees. I work out often and walk almost everyday so it's a pain (literally) when my arthritis flares up. I had seen the various vitamins and over-the-counter medications geared towards people with joint pain but always thought that they were for "old people." Honestly, the only reason why I chose to buy Osteo Bi-Flex Advanced Triple Strength Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM with 5-Loxin was because of a good sale price stacked with a coupon. There are so many different varieties of joint relief products to buy, that it is difficult to make a choice. Fortunately, this product is working for me. This product claims that it has clinically shown to provide joint comfort within 7 days and that it also promotes mobility, renews cartilage, and maintains healthy connective tissue. It also states that this is the #1 doctor & pharmacist recommended brand. While I can't vouch for the above claims, I can state that since I have been taking it for a couple of months, I have noticed less arthritis pain. The recommended dose is two caplets per day, but I do not take it everyday. I take it somewhat regularly but mostly when the weather is such that I know my arthritis is going to flare up. Also, I take it when I am in full workout mode versus when I skip the gym for a while and do daily walks instead (which are easier on my joints). My only issues with this product is that it smells and tastes bad and that it seems to be a product that you need to take long-term to fully realize the benefits. I don't mind taking multi-vitamins everyday, but I'm still on the fence about taking this product long-term. I'll have to ask my doctor about it and recommend that anyone considering taking this to do the same.
