OsoCozy makes a great cotton prefold. They come in 2 sizes, the first size goes up to 15 pounds, and the second size will take you to potty training. These are so much better than the Gerber ones. They are a lot thicker and softer, and they do not use the polyester foam in the center part. They end up being cheaper than a lot of other brands too because of the sizing. Some companies have 5 different sized prefolds, and you have to keep buying, but OsoCozy is basically a newborn and a One Size Prefold Diaper. After washing and prepping, they are so soft and absorbant. These prefolds are super easy to order from major onling retailing store. You can try them with a variety of covers, but I use them mostly with Bummis and Thirsties covers. They come in bleached and unbleached. You can also buy it in Indian or Chinese cotton.
