Great product with easy application

5

I love the osmocote indoor and outdoor smart release plant food. It works excellent and is easy to use. You just open it up and shake it around your plants and that's it. They release the plant food overtime so it is pretty fool proof. No mixing or adding anything. Its ready to go. Its easy to find and priced fairly. I have some veggie plants in some tires and this proved much easier to use then liquid plant food. I also sprinkle it throughout my flower beds and it works well. I like how easy it is to use versus having a powder mix that needs to be added to water. The liquid plant food doesn't feed for as long as osmocote does. I teccomend it for house plants, veggie gardens, and flower beds. You get great results with a lot less work involved. Its great for beginner growers too!

This is simple to use

I really like how easy it is to use this product. There is no measuring required which means no mess made on my sidewalk. The little pellets in Osmocote smart release plant food are much more effective that all the other fertilizers on the market. This product is also special because you can use it on a wide arrange of plants. I used this product on my strawberries and they doubled in size at harvest time. This product also helps my plants to be more healthy even in extreme temperatures. I used to use a liquid fertilizer for my plants. It was so difficult to use because of the mixing that was required. Using the other fertilizers also cause me to lose a lot of my plants because they did not live up to the hype stated on the fancy label. If you are tired of weak crops, then reach of a bottle of this product. You will be raving about this product to you friends because you will have abundant yields from your plants.

Osomocote brand outdoor/indoor smart-release plant food is an excellent product for your home garden. I use it in my vegetable garden with excellent results. You just sprinkle a few grains using the included measuring spoon into the hole when you plant your vegetables. You will have stronger more disease resistant plants as a result and of course you will get more vegetables and fruits. This is a very easy to use product that you don't have to mix with water. It has special time release capsules that won't burn your plants by releasing too much fertilizer at once. You can also sprinkle the fertilizer grains on top of the soil of older plants that are already established such as houseplants or outdoor ornamental garden plants or fruit trees. It has worked equally well with both indoor and outdoor plants for me. My indoor houseplants grow faster and stronger with this product and my outdoor flowers have the same results as well as more flowers.

Fertilizer That's Good Enough For Martha Stewart

5

I was wandering through the aisles of the home improvement center and stopped by a shelf loaded with various forms of fertilizer.  Some were liquid, others were in jugs, and many included weed-and-feed formulas.  I decided upon a plastic bottle filled with straw-colored beads called **Osmocote Outdoor/Indoor Smart-Release Plant Food**.  Later, I saw a video featuring Martha Stewart using the product on her window boxes.  It turned out to be a good pick. Osmocote is a 19-6-12 formula, which is apparently an industry standard for slow release plant fertilizer.  The little fertilizer pebbles are easy to measure and spread around the base of my shrubs, and in-ground annuals and perennials.  In addition, I mix some into the potting soil of my containers when transplanting my summer annuals. I generally use 3 tablespoons of Osmocote spread over a two-foot by two-foot area, and scratch it into the the top 1 or 2 inches of the soil/mulch.  Once I've added the Osmocote to each garden bed, I turn on the sprinklers to water the plant food into the soil.  I have issues with hand fatigue, so this is an easier process for me than the liquid fertilizers that require you to attach the product to a garden hose and spray until it empties.  Osmocote lasts a full 4-months during the active growing season.  This means that if I start in April, my plants get nutrients through July.  I do like to fertilize a couple of plants through September, so I'll have to use something else for the remaining two months.  The only drawback about Osmocote is that I don't want it to still be feeding plants during the time they need to go dormant.  Overall, I am so glad that I discovered **Osmocote Outdoor/Indoor Smart-Release Plant Food.  **It nourishes my plants, encourages big blooms, and is incredibly easy to use.
