I still buy OM because it's one of the comfort foods from growing up.  I still buy the 'all beef', but have tried the other varities available.  The one review is right, to fry it be sure to cut some slits.  I like to quarter the whole slice, then do one slit into the pie slice, and fry it up that way.  The thickness is perfect for the sandwhiches, not so healthy, but we all need a bit of comfort food.

Any of the other deli brands are good, and I do like the thin factor, wish that sometimes, I could get the OM brand in the deli.   I find that I even use it on party trays that I make for the fast get togethers.  It's amazing how many  people, even those that love and enjoy the opera and good wines, like to put OM on a cracker with a bit of cheese and enjoy.

Now, I usually do the old American cheese with my balogna, add my veggies, etc. and enjoy.  But, when I was a kid growing up, we made them with grape jam,,not jelly, nope, NOT jelly, grape jam.  And my kids still do it too once in a while.  And always, it's always Oscar Mayer that they buy too.  I've tried the others, but I find, it doesn't get finished.

When it goes on sale, I buy extra and toss into the freezer, freezes like a dream, and I always have it on hand.
