The Orleans was a very comfortable stay for my family & myself. I liked the fact that it was not right on the strip, but it was still close enough that we didn't spend a lot of time on the shuttle bus. The room was kept clean, & the Housekeeping Staff we encountered were friendly. Rooms were… read full review »

I got things stolen from the room. When we checked out we did not receive an apology. The sink in the bathroom was backed up. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. I have been to Vegas many times and have never had this happen.Shopping: Long Walk, The Orleans has a shuttle that will bring… read full review »

We stayed at the Orleans hotel in Vegas this past July. We decided on this hotel after seeing a great deal online. — — One con is that the hotel is off the strip. Orleans makes up for it by having a great shuttle bus system. They drop you off right in the middle of the strip. This means we can leave the car at the hotel. Driving in Las Vegas is NOT fun so we loved being shuttled around for free. We never had to wait too long for the bus which was a plus. The bus drivers were courteous for the most part. — — We enjoyed the room. It was clean and just your standard… read full review »

The Orleans had nice rooms and they were very spacious.  The shower had great pressure and you got as much hot water as you needed.  The standard room comes with one or two beds, a couch, and a comfy chair.  There is not a closet to hang clothes, but I think there was a place to hang things in the bathroom...not a place I like hanging my clothes.  — My biggest problem was the location.  They advertised having a shuttle which would take you to the strip, but it only ran until midnight.  We had to pay a cab, which ran between 10 and 15 dollars from the strip… read full review »

My first stay at The Orleans was July 2007. The hotel staff was friendly and very willing to help at all times. The hotel hosts many restaurants with wide price ranges. The food was always up to expectation. Within the hotel is family type entertainment, such as a bowling alley and movie theater. The rooms were reasonably priced and the largest of I've seen in Vegas in the price range. My next trip to Vegas I plan to stay at the Orleans.… read full review »

I was very pleased with everything at the Orleans Hotel. The check in was very quick, accommodating, and they took time to answer all my questions about the floor plan and locations of the many ammenities. My room was wonderful # 1781. Modern and sparkling clean, and only 4 doors from the elevator. Plenty of room in the bathroom, great lay out plan. One door separates toilet and tub in one room, sink and closet space with hangers, coffee pot, ironing board/iron in adjoining room with pocket door to the sleeping area. The bed was very comfy and conformed to my body...awsome. … read full review »

We stayed at the Orleans for two nights, and three days right after Christmas. The room was very comfortable, it had a desk, and a small sofa and coffee table, and two chairs, and a kingsized bed. The bathroom was separate from the vanity area, which I liked. There was adequate space for the closet area. The furniture was nice, and we had four pictures of New Orleans which were very enjoyable to look at. We had a coffee maker in the room, which we were very pleased to find. I enjoying waking up with a nice hot cup of coffee. This is a great hotel for a couple or family,… read full review »

Our stay at " THE ORLEANS " was FANTASTIC, very friendly staff from the Valet, to Front Desk, to the Wait Staff to the Maid Service. It was just close enough to the Strip away from the noise and the busy traffic. Our room was a good size with 2 doulbe beds and desk with internet hook up (for a fee) a sitting area with a couch end tables and wing back the bathroom was in a seperate area with a dressing area and sink with the shower and toilet off of that( the bathroom had a phone beside the toilet) A very long closet are to hang up your clothes in the dressing area and a 4 drawer dresser in… read full review »

Orleans Hotel and Casino room was very comfortable. It had a large bathroom, where you could place your suitcase and hang up your clothes in the one side of the bathroom. huge vanity mirror. what I also loved about room was that it came with a sitting area consisting of a loveseat, chair, and table where you could sit and have conversations with others without having to sit on the beds. It also had a desk and chair for you to work on your computer, or just go over paperwork. The hotel and rooms were tastefully decorated. The staff was very considerate, helpful and polite. They offered discount… read full review »

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Orleans Hotel. This was my first time visiting Las Vegas and my wife and i decided to try the Orleans. The room was larger than most, the beds comfortable, and the maid service was timely, as the room was always clean when we returned. If one has a family, this hotel is ideal, as it has a day care center, a bowling alley, and a 16-screen movie theater. There were many options for dining--the prices were reasonable and the food was good in each of the resturants we tried. The only downsides to the Orleans are the location and the pervasive… read full review »

Upon entering the hotel I was greeted with the smell of smoke and my eyes stayed red all weekend. Didn't see any hotel staff except at check-out and the security guard and they were just doing their job. Were not made to feel special. The hotel valet and bellmen were excellent. Having one elevator area created a lot of walking to our room... good exercise I suppose. The buffet was good and the staff there was friendly. Didn't gamble so i can't say how those folks were. I would have enjoyed being able to walk to more places, but the neighborhood didn't appear to be the safest to… read full review »

the Orleans Hotel was very comfortable and afforable, the room was large with couch coffe- table, desk with highspeed computer set-up features, iorn, coffee maker, adequate space for hanging clothes, 27 inch TV. But should not use real drinking glasses in bathroom, as they can break on the floor- upon checking in step on pieace of glass when getting ready to take shower, called room service and it was cleaned up pretty fast and friendly service. The pool had three features 1. kiddie wade pool, 2. swimming pool, 3.spa pool. the spa pool was very relaxing, had a bar area that you could buy… read full review »

We were extremely pleased to have an upgrade to a suite upon our arrival. This, alone, made the value for the price we paid amazing. The room was absolutely beautiful, very comfortable, and we were very impressed with the security features. We not only needed to use our room key in the elevator in order to even get to the floor our room was on, but also in a large iron gate leading down the floor to our room. We ate our evening meal, and also our brunch in the buffet, which was superb. We enjoyed our brief stay so much, it was difficult to leave the next day. We will definitely… read full review »

Very nice Las Vegas hotel... Impressive from the outside, impressive from the inside. The rooms were great, very clean, beds were soft & comfortable. Lots of Restaurants choices with OUTSTANDING food & drinks. Great coupon book BTW... be sure to check it out! The Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. There was Security at the elevators checking room keys. The only downside is the hotel is located on the North side of I-15. This means you need a car to get to the Strip. They do provide a FREE shuttle to the Barbary Coast & back, so this kind of solves the problem. If you have… read full review »

This is a major hotel but it is not on the strip. You need to rent a car, as we did, or pay for over-priced taxis to get to the Strip (about 6 mins away). Rooms are over-size and more like a mini suite, with excellent sofa and armchair. Hotel is 10 years old and feels new. Rooms and hallways feel particularly clean and the hotel has a very nice, clean and comfortable feeling. Warning: if you have walking problems, ask for a room near the elevator, otherwise you could be in for a VERY long walk to your room. Only complaint is that the in-room a/c was noisy and woke us up during the night -… read full review »

WE HAVE STAYED ON THE STRIP MANY TIME BUT FOR THIS TRIP WE DECIDED TO TRY AN OFF-STRIP HOTEL. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE ORLEANS. CHECK IN AND OUT WAS EASY AND QUICK. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE POOL AREA WAS VERY NICE AND WITH A SHUTTLE TO THE STRIP WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED AND AT A GOOD PRICE. MY ONLY CONCERN WAS THE CASINO WAS A BIT SMOKEY. BUT WE WILL STAY THERE ON OUR NEXT TRIP TO LAS VEGAS.Dining: In Hotel, THE HOTEL HAS PLENTY OF PLACES TO EAT, ANYTHING FROM SNACKS TO MEALS. THE COURTYARD CAFE WAS THE OLNY PLACE WE… read full review »
